At our hall it tended to be done in a sly way; some of the mums(why always them?)would ...PICK UP the child and then FORCE them down really hard; whilst in their seats,all the while whispering threats and SQUEEZING them really hard on the arms,and pinch them hard.I think as it was done in a whisper and in situ they thought it acceptable...no one noticed... you should have seen the MARKS and their terrified little faces...it was the threatening whispers I hated to see more than anything else; I always wondered what they could say to a two year old that would stop it dead in it's tracks?

Is it REALLY next Thursday?This is the first time in all the years I associated that I hav'nt had one. by Geordie injust wondering how many of us "apostates" have gone all the way and become bikers.. i have just bought a yamaha xjr 1300cc and i also own a vw trike.. any one else out there into leathers/heavy drinking/rock music/rallys/drugs?

By the way Geordie; talking of festivals etc, did you ever go to the Elephant Fayre on the port elliot estate in Cornwall?What a festival that was, muddier than Glastonbury and NO HIPPIES ALLOWED!I survived for 4 days on potatoes cooked in a fire,burnt, and cider.Then we had to push all the bikes out of the mud at the end.AND I PAID FOR THE PRIVILEDGE!Nice friends though,I always had all male bikers for friends and they were so sweet and protective,god, i'd forgotten all those trips out, MAG runs etc,Iwonder where they all are now?We used to laugh so much;when witnesses used to talk about how awful bikers were etc I used to think 'but they're SOOO much nicer than you...Happy days

I used to ride a Suzuki GT 380. It was lovely, low and chunky. I used to teach kids to pass their part 1 (IS IT STILL CALLED THAT?!)All a long time ago now, I did get the urge to get another a while back, but then a friend was killed on his and I remembered why I bought a horse instead.you know the rush you get when you're accelerating hard? well on a horse it feels twice as good and these babies have brains to get you out of tight spots too!!but now my son wants to trial ride so I guess it'll all start again!!!

UN and WT investigation

does anyone else recall reading this?

Hello mcbride (you sound like an associate of Clint Eastwood!) Yes, you're not halucinating, I remember this too and have been checking the threads on the un /scandals for 4 months now.Hopefully they'll get a move on.Surely it's in their best interests to do so ,after all they did appear rather stupid; not knowing what the wtbs really thought of them. Perhaps a few letters to the un DEMANDING an investigation would'nt go amis? The more they realise many people know about this; the more urgent an investigation may be, afterall, they would'nt want to appear to have been hoodwinked by a bunch of crack pots-would they??!!!And then we'll see if a write up of the investigation can appear in the press- oh joy.

What a brave post!You may help many others because of it; and it could'nt have been easy.I loved your question...What is the opposite of 'independent thinking...'I too have suffered a similar experience,if you want my e mail- just ask; i'm ok most of the time now-sometimes feel councelling would help but can't bear to talk of it at all; God only knows how you sat there in front of them...And was the disfellowshipping all to do with not resisting?They really are such twats; anyone with half a brain knows that when someone decides to commit a rape it's a VIOLENCE/power motivated crime;the sexual aspect is just an added extra if you like, to provide you with the ultimate humiliation.To class it as pornea is CRUEL in the extreme.It makes you suffer twice.Perhaps i'll write to a militant womans' group and let them do the rest for us in exposing their ATTITUDE.How could they not understand the SACRIFICE you made to protect your babies?I too, got away with my life ;literally, due to presence of mind;But the best way for me to deal with it all is to constantly remind myself how well I did to save my own life; and the same is true of you WELL DONE XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
